Welcome to Mannkind Alpacas

Situated in Somerset's beautiful Quantock Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we specialise in breeding the rare Suri Alpaca.

Unusually for the UK, our herd of 20 pure white Suri runs together with our pedigree Texel, pedigree Lleyn and commercial sheep flocks. We find that this inter-species interaction stimulates the alpacas intellect more and makes them calmer animals to handle.
